Three Countries. One Passion.
📍 Iași, Romania
I grew up in Iași, Romania, in a family where food meant everything. My earliest memories are standing in the kitchen, watching meals come together from simple ingredients. Rich stews, grilled meats, fresh herbs, recipes passed from one generation to the next.
Then life gave me my two greatest gifts, my sons, Daniel and Silviu. From the moment they were born, they became my whole world. Being their mother gave me a strength I never knew I had, and a reason to keep moving forward.
Romanian food teaches you that cooking is never just about feeding people. It's about caring for them.
📍 Lesvos, Greece
I still remember arriving in Greece and being completely captivated. The endless blue sea, the mountains, the warmth of the people. It felt magical. But what truly stole my heart was the food.
Simple ingredients. Good olive oil. Food cooked over fire and shared with people you love. I spent years learning my way around Greek kitchens. The rhythm of the grill, the patience needed to make good food, how to build marinades that enhance rather than overpower.
Over twenty years passed. Twenty years of learning, cooking, tasting, and improving.
Then my boys grew up and moved to the United Kingdom. Like every mother, my heart followed them.
📍 Daventry, England
When I arrived in Daventry, I met Fotis, my life partner. With his unwavering love and the encouragement of Daniel and Silviu, we opened our little takeaway on Western Ave.
Not to build a restaurant. To bring a piece of our journey to you. Every marinade, every skewer, every portion of tzatziki comes from years of experience, mistakes, lessons, and love.
The families who visit every week. The customers who became friends. The familiar voices on the phone. Some of you call, and I already know your order. Every time that happens, it makes me smile.
